2012 Chinese New Year is the year of Dragon. Students are requested to make your own personalized calendar in the year of Dragon. Each group is assigned the specific month. Your monthly calendar will hang up in the classroom every month.
Objective: Describe the personal information and their family members about birthday, and daily routine schedule
Direction Students write two paragraph about themselves and their family members' birthdays, nationality, when they were born, ages, zodiacs, one of the daily routine schedules.

Grading: Part 1: Teacher will grade students today after 15 minutes Chinese typing (draft version). 40 points Part 2: Final product due on Feb. 1 (Wednesday). 20 points

Project : Travel Itinerary (Reading and speaking)
Student is a representative of the travel agent. You design an attractive travel itinerary plan and present it to customers who come visiting the travel fair.
Students pick one country that they have already learned. Select four cities or landmarks of the specific country for their travel itinerary. All information will be presented in Chinese characters except cities/landmarks information. Show cities/landmarks in the map. Transportations include flight, bus, bicycle and train and indicate the departure date/time and arrival date/time as well as cost per person. Google the flight, bus, train time tables from website.
